Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Rancho Mirage, California
Description We are looking for a diligent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Financial Management industry located in Rancho Mirage, California. This role involves managing all facets of accounting for a number of clients, assisting with tax processing, and utilizing a range of accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Assist with tax processing for clients
• Utilize various accounting software systems such as Quickbooks and Drake Tax Software
• Handle accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and handle billing functions
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, for various tasks
• Maintain a professional knowledge of public accounting practices
• Prepare income tax returns
• Ensure all financial management tasks are conducted in a timely and accurate manner. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar financial management position
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
• Demonstrated ability in managing accounting functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and billing functions
• Skilled in using Drake Tax Software
• Proficient in preparing Income Tax Return
• Experience in using QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of public accounting practices
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
