Robert Half HR Director in Rancho Santa Fe, California

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Director in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The role involves mentoring and enhancing the knowledge and skills of the existing HR team, managing the implementation of a new payroll system, and ensuring compliance with California employee regulations. This role is pivotal in the development and modernization of the employee handbook and the revision of policies and procedures as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of a new payroll system to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Foster the detail-oriented development of the HR team through mentoring and training.

• Stay updated and ensure adherence to California labor laws and regulations.

• Develop, revise, and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.

• Overhaul and modernize the outdated employee handbook to reflect current practices and policies.

• Handle employee relations, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of inquiries.

• Oversee hiring processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational development.

• Manage benefit functions, ensuring they are in line with HR compliance.

• Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in management

• Exceptional Communication skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Compliance requirements

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Hiring Processes

• Ability to develop and implement HR Policy

• Understanding of HR Compliance regulations

• Experience in creating and executing HR Strategy

• Knowledge of Labor Law

• Expertise in Organizational Development

• Proficient in Training & Development
