Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers via phone, email, or chat. Your primary goal will be to resolve technical issues and answer questions related to computer software and hardware operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues of moderate complexity
Install software and perform hardware testing remotely
Troubleshoot technical issues by entering commands and observing system functionality
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including issues and resolutions
Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues, using technical manuals and computer diagnostics as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training
0-2 years of experience in a technical support role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and provide top-notch customer service
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Basic knowledge of computer software, including configuration management, desktop communications, operating system, and internet directory services
