Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk based in Redmond, Washington. The role involves various accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, monitoring customer credit accounts, and maintaining customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) including bill processing, cash receipt input, invoice preparation, and monitoring receivables.

• Conduct credit card charge reconciliation and maintain up-to-date vendor database information.

• Ensure customer contact information is accurate and current.

• Monitor and manage daily activities related to the FedEx account, including bill processing and weekly auditing.

• Assist in the administration of customer asset and warranty records, including entries and updating information as needed.

• Assist in Month End closing tasks, including rollforward schedules and Journal Entries as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to support accounting operations and achieve department goals.

• Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and other various tasks.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.

Requirements • Proven experience in the role of an Accounting Clerk or a similar position.

• Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation, including credit card reconciliation.

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Capable of maintaining vendor files and other necessary files.

• Proficient in data entry and invoice processing tasks.

• Excellent knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tasks.

• Experience in providing administrative assistance in a financial or accounting setting.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
