Description
Accounts Payable Specialist Overview: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all aspects of the company’s accounts payable functions.
This role is fully remote, and requires approximately 15-20 hours per week. The Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, maintain financial records, and support the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Process and enter invoices into the accounting system.
Prepare and execute payments to vendors in accordance with company policies.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with internal departments to address inquiries and provide support.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in software: Ramp, Intact, Excel, and Salesforce.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
