Description

Robert Half is hiring a Senior Accountant to support clients with project based projects and staff augmentation.

Requirements

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports: As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for accurate financial record keeping. This will involve keeping track of a company's financial transactions, expenses, profits, and cash flow, ensuring financial records are current and accurate.

  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures: This includes ensuring that the company adheres to any relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and yearly end financial reports: These reports are essential to help senior management understand the business's financial health.

  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes: Senior Accountants play a key role in helping business managers plan their budgets and make future financial forecasts.

  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits: This involves providing all needed documentation and explanations to auditors, and implementing any recommended changes.

  • Continually improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions: Senior Accountants are expected to find ways to make financial operations more efficient and effective.

  • Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy: As a Senior Accountant, you'll often have a supervisory role, checking the work of more junior staff.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Software: SAP4/Hana, Workday, NetSuite and Microsoft Excel - intermediate level.
