Robert Half Software Engineer in Remington, Indiana

Description We are in search of a Software Engineer to join our team in Remington, Indiana. This role will primarily involve designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications for our clients. You will be working in a dynamic, innovative environment and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of industry-leading software products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, and REACT.

• Implement AJAX functionality to enhance the responsiveness and interactivity of web applications.

• Integrate SOAP web services to facilitate communication between different systems.

• Utilize skills in Visual Studio for development, debugging, and version control.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database schemas for Oracle databases.

• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and provide accurate estimates for development tasks.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or identified during testing phases.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development to continually improve skills and knowledge.

• Utilize skills in Apache Struts, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS, Blazor, C Sharp Programming (C#), C# - Sharp, and WinForm. Requirements • Proficient in Apache Struts, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS, Blazor, C Sharp Programming (C#), C# - Sharp, WinForm, and Microsoft SQL.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.

• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining software systems.

• Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Proven ability to design and execute effective software tests.

• Ability to provide software process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.

• Experience in agile development methodologies is beneficial.
