Robert Half Associate Director, Marketing Technology in REMOTE, Pennsylvania

Description

A global company is looking for an Associate Director of Marketing Technology to co-lead and grow the marketing technology team and is responsible for partnering across senior management to craft the vision of marketing technologies and implements the marketing technology strategy to optimize customer and business outcomes. The Associate Director of Marketing Technology integrates global strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration to execute global marketing technology strategy, drive innovation and business results. Success in this role will utilize global experience to analyze business needs, partner with marketing teams to recommend, implement and optimize marketing technology tools.

Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility will be to create an omnichannel digital strategy that spans multiple digital objectives.

  • Understand industry best practices for eCommerce tools like Magento and SFDC. Best practices can include lead routing frameworks, lead nurturing strategy, assessing lead scoring performance, optimizing integrations between eCommerce and SFDC, user and data security practices.

  • Drive unparalleled customer experience with Adobe Commerce and CRM/ Marketing integration.

  • Take ownership of processes, including support, maintenance, documentation, enablement, and enhancement. Processes include things such as data strategy, enrichment, standardization, scoring, nurturing, routing, segmentation, etc.

  • Deliver on roadmaps from concept through enablement to ensure high adoption and high success. This includes handling project timelines, communication, expectations, etc.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand digital marketing objectives to ensure alignment with project outcomes and effectively meet strategic and tactical needs.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, BI, and data science teams to build a cohesive and unified view of marketing data.

  • Partner with program managers to establish timelines and ensure delivery of projects and requests.

  • Responsible for phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing application support.

  • Direct the activities of several systems analysis/programming sections organized into project teams and establish and analyze staffing requirements to meet project deliverables.

  • Direct and implement strategic direction and policies consistent with the strategic objectives and plans of the business units and the technology strategy.

  • Select and build strong functional teams through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring, and other development techniques.

  • Take direction, coaching, and adapt to a changing environment with agility. Team-first mentality.

  • Seek enhancement and efficiency at every turn. Have an eye for scale and automation.

  • Bring new ideas to the table and seek constant improvement and growth.

  • Drive the governance of the system integrity and performance of various platforms.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, computer science or related field

  • 10+ years relevant technical experience

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Experience with business analysis and business process improvement, preferably in a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment

  • Manage cross-functional team (e.g., Data & Analytics, eCommerce, CRM) to design and implement ideal customer experiences aligned to journey phases & strategic messaging strategy.

  • Experience in process and system development in the following areas: Google Analytics, AdWords, Marketo, and SalesForce.

  • Experience in various methodologies for planning and executing application development, enhancement, or support.

  • Proven history of working with developers and cross-functional business stakeholders

  • Deep experience with message-driven architecture and integration patterns, including Data Migration & Integration tools & methodologies.
