Digital Measurement Strategist




Robert Half is seeking a Digital Measurement Strategist , as part of the Global Digital Analytics organization, leads the development Robert Half's digital measurement framework across its global external facing digital properties (website, app, product). This role is an integral part of our digital instrumentation and data collection process, fully dedicating it’s time to developing measurement strategies and infrastructure requirements for our customer data platform, app / web measurement tools, and advertising pixels (client and server side).

This role will be responsible for ensuring that our data collection meets the needs of the business and is aligned with our overarching digital strategy inclusive of defining conversion objectives, identifying key engagement opportunities, mapping user experiences, building clear and consistent event nomenclatures, developing identity resolution strategies (cross device, domain, and platform stitching), documenting measurement scheme and data flows, and ultimately producing a clear, detailed, and actionable global measurement framework.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Envision and design a clear measurement framework for the instrumentation and measurement of RH's Global Digital product suite ( Web, App, Product).

  • Create actionable technical implementation documents that clearly detail specifications for data collection that can be leveraged by our internal and external development teams inclusive of inclusive of defining conversion objectives; identifying key engagement opportunities; mapping user experiences; and building clear and consistent field, attribute, and event nomenclatures.

  • Develop strategy and provide requirements to ensure CDP (Tealium) continues to meet the evolving digital needs of the business. This includes defining audiences, actioning journeys, and identifying current and future use cases to action upon.

  • Identify and action opportunities to create a robust identity resolution strategy that help us produce a 360-degree view of the customer across platforms and devices.

  • Become the subject matter expert in how data passes through our digital ecosystem and craft strategies to effectively measure various across platforms.

  • Understand Robert Half's business strategies and marketing initiates for new product, features, and campaigns.

  • Proactively review customer journeys, digital experience and future mocks to ensure in-depth understanding of Robert Half current and future digital properties.

  • Keep up to date with latest best practices and technology changes regarding digital measurement and provide recommendations to ensure that measurement and data collection methodologies are consistent and adapting to the ever-changing digital landscape.

  • Document measurement process, create data dictionaries and catalogs, define event nomenclature, and ensure actionable and comprehensive intuitional knowledge.


  • Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or similar/related field

  • 3+ years developing digital measurement plans and / or measurement frameworks

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Reporting Analyst or a related discipline

  • 1+ years’ experience working with web or analytics technologies

  • 1+ years' business experience, with demonstrated leadership, project management, or managerial skills.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Technical understanding of how digital analytics and tag management solutions are deployed

  • Significant experience with digital measurement platforms across both app and web (Google Analytics & Firebase preferred), tag management solutions (Tealium preferred), customer data platforms (Tealium preferred), and the major paid media digital platforms

  • Ability to develop detailed technical documents and data diagrams

  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms Required, Significant experience (preferred)

  • Experience with event-based data models (preferred)

  • Experience building and maintaining a digital measurement framework across multiple digital properties

  • Excellence understanding of digital customer journey and user experience principles

  • Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) with proven ability to distill complex topics into simple language that can be understood by a wide range of stakeholders

  • Experience developing technical documentation and mapping (preferred)
