Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Division Controller role with a large company located in Reno, Nevada. This is a position with a handful of direct report and an overall accounting organization of about 30 people. The areas the Division Controller will oversee are Accounting Operations including general ledger, fixed assets, intangibles, software capitalization, lease accounting and accounts payable. The person in this role reports to the Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate:
CPA, required
At least 10 years of accounting leadership experience, including the areas outlined above
Experience working for a large, sophisticated company
Strong understanding and experience in interpreting guidance/pronouncements
Experience supporting both internal and external audits and managing internal controls

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Controller role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing and Lease Accounting.
• Solid understanding of Intangible Asset and Financial Statement Preparation.
• Experience with both External Audit and Internal Control processes.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• CPA required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
