Robert Half is working with a Manufacturing company in Reno that is seeking a Senior Accountant to start ASAP. This is a temporary to hire position for the right candidate! In this role, you will be expected to oversee day to day accounting activities, maintain the general ledger, perform daily bank reconciliations and other tasks as needed. In this Senior Accountant position you will directly support the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure accuracy in the general ledger

• Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements

• Handle bill payments in a timely and accurate manner

• Make use of SAP for various accounting tasks

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Handle month-end close processes

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in managing Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and experience in using SAP software
