Description We are offering a role in the IT Software industry based in Richardson, Texas, United States. The position is for a Desktop Support Analyst, offering an opportunity for a short term contract employment. The role involves providing frontline technical assistance to end-users across the organization and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or chat.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues as necessary.

• Document support activities, solutions, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.

• Assist with software installations, upgrades, patches, and basic software troubleshooting.

• Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.

• Collaborate with IT teams to share knowledge, resolve issues, and improve support processes.

• Participate in training and detail oriented development to enhance technical skills.

• Manage IT equipment inventory and conduct audits to ensure stock levels.

• Respond promptly to IT support tickets and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Educate users on basic security practices, VPN setup, and email configuration.

• Apply skills in Asset Inventory, Desktop Support, and Accounts Provisioning. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of IT software industry trends and developments

• Proficient in providing desktop support to various types of software and hardware

• Demonstrated ability to handle asset inventory tasks efficiently and accurately

• Experience in accounts provisioning, managing user access and system settings

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients

• Ability to document incidents and provide technical reports

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
