Robert Half HR Generalist in Richardson, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist based in Richardson, Texas. The role involves managing policies and procedures related to benefits, Workers Compensation, leave management, HRIS, and Payroll Processing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain successful relationships with internal customers and managers, providing effective HR support and advice

• Act as the first point of contact with Netchex Payroll Systems, ensuring a positive working relationship with the Netchex team

• Manage Change of Status documents including vacations, promotions, demotions, employment verifications, garnishments, and direct deposit

• Ensure appropriate payroll documentation is processed weekly

• Maintain the integrity and security of the Payroll system data

• Process payroll & benefits reports

• Create HRIS reports to support enhanced Retention and Restaurant Operations

• Participate in benefits administration, coordinating initial enrollment, submitting required documents to the plan administrator, and answering general insurance questions

• Maintain new hire folders for RSC and Field Management personnel, ensuring all required documentation is provided.

• Ability to use About Time software effectively is a must

• Expertise in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration is necessary

• Strong understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations is crucial

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, is required

• Experience with HRIS reporting and HRIS System is crucial

• Candidates should be able to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required

• Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred.
