Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our client's team in Richardson, Texas. This role involves leading various projects, working with global teams, and providing regular status updates. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with Tuesday and Thursday in the office. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT, security, infrastructure, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple project teams, track milestones, and collaborate with global stakeholders. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of delivering results in a high-paced environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely and effective communication with key stakeholders, and maintaining project data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of IT, security, infrastructure, and construction projects from initiation to high-level milestone tracking.
Collaborate with global teams, ensuring project goals align across multiple locations.
Provide regular weekly status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and progress tracking.
Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are set, tracked, and met across work units.
Implement communication plans for meetings and reports, ensuring all project resources and clients remain informed.
Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, with a focus on data integrity.
Create action plans to meet project goals, objectives, and schedules, reporting variances as needed.
Lead project teams by offering guidance and direction to meet project objectives.
Ensure project progress is tracked and reported, using data to provide insights into timelines and objectives.
Responsible for overseeing project delivery but does not handle budget approval as this will already be set.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience leading IT-related projects.
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience managing project teams and coordinating across global regions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Outlook, OneNote, or PowerBI.
Key Attributes:
Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate project goals and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to lead teams and ensure project deadlines are met.
