Description 1. Administer employee benefit program.

  1. Responsible for payroll administration.

  2. Recruitment.

  3. Assist in maintaining positive employee relations.

  4. Responsible for FMLA administration including tracking leaves, benefit premiums, and return to work forms.

  5. Assures compliance with applicable laws related to human resources.

  6. Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database. Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes timely.

  7. Ability to organize work, develops procedures, and follows instructions.

  8. Ability to coordinate heavy correspondence including confidential documents.

  9. Ability to maintain confidence regarding information processed.

  10. Communication skills with ability to talk with and write to a wide variety of individuals to secure hard to get, but necessary information.

  11. High ethical standards.

  12. Well-organized and self-directed.

  13. Good keyboarding skills and legible handwriting.

  14. Team player.

  15. Ability to relate to people at all levels in the organization.

  16. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

  17. Ability to handle multiple projects.

  18. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

  19. Ability to operate computer, copier and fax.
