Robert Half Insurance Verification Coordinator in Richmond, Texas
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Insurance Verification Coordinator in Richmond, Texas. This role is part of our revenue cycle management team and is entirely based onsite. The Insurance Verification Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks including insurance verification, working with insurance portals, and handling customer service inquiries. Bilingual skills are a significant advantage for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Verify patient insurance coverage and update records accordingly
• Work with insurance portals for efficient and accurate data management
• Accept and process co-payments from patients, ensuring accurate recording of transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
• Utilize the NextGen system for various billing and claim administration functions
• Ensure all authorizations and benefit functions are carried out in line with company policies and procedures
• Regularly update and maintain customer credit records
• Proactively monitor customer credit accounts and initiate action for delinquent payments
• Attend quarterly Saturday meetings as part of continuous professional development and team collaboration. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Insurance Verification Coordination or similar role.
• Proficiency in handling Authorizations, Benefit Functions, and Billing Functions.
• Proven experience in Claim Administration.
• Familiarity with the NextGen system is critical.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with different stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
