Description We are offering an opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant role located in Richmond, VA. The role involves examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare statements and/or advise management. The job function includes a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities: • Examines and analyzes accounting records to prepare accurate financial statements. • Advises management based on the interpretation of accounting records. • Assists and mentors entry level team members as needed. • Ensures adherence to accounting functions and QA management. • Adapts to a hybrid work schedule, balancing between on-site and remote work. • Maintains professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial data. • Utilizes accounting software to streamline and automate processes. • Collaborates with the team to achieve financial objectives and ensure financial transparency. • Communicates effectively with other departments to align financial data and forecasts. • Continually updates skills and knowledge in the accounting field to ensure best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in interpreting financial data and statements

• Understanding of basic accounting functions and principles

• Knowledge in Quality Assurance (QA) Management

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Familiarity with accounting software and databases

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Entry-level experience in accounting or a related field would be advantageous.
