Description We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk with our client in Richmond, Virginia. The role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The individual will also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Resolve customer credit enquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate appropriate action for overdue payments • Verify and analyze data received from store level and make necessary corrections • Assist with questions relating to information received from store level • Perform data entry tasks • Create and maintain Excel worksheets • Assist with the reconciliation of data files and accounts • Perform other job-related responsibilities as they arise • Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, customer service, and computer research to perform and improve job functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with Customer Invoices is required

• Knowledge about Approved Invoices is necessary

• Ability to Code Invoices is essential

• Excellent Customer Service skills are required

• Proficiency in Computer Research is required

• Prior experience in the Retail - Food Store industry is preferred

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is beneficial

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are necessary

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Ability to work independently and in a team is crucial

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary

• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
