Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Richmond, Virginia
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the non-profit industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves a range of tasks related to managing customer credit applications and records.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records • Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner • Monitor customer credit accounts regularly • Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting • Use Abila MIP for various accounting functions • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards in the non-profit industry. Requirements • Holds proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Demonstrates advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Has experience with Abila MIP software
• Familiar with Non-Profit industry accounting practices
• Possesses excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Able to handle confidential information responsibly
• Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Possesses a problem-solving mindset
• Has a proactive approach towards process improvements
• Displays ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; further education in Finance or Accounting is a plus
• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role is preferred.
