Robert Half Executive Assistant in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are providing an opportunity for a role as an Executive Assistant, within the local government sector, located in Richmond, Virginia, United States. This role is a long- term contract employment opportunity. As an Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support services that ensures a detail oriented, responsive and effective experience with the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize various software, including Concur, CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook to perform daily tasks and maintain records. • Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments and travel arrangements. • Arrange and coordinate meetings and events. • Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications. • Interact with external clients. • Co-ordinate project-based work. • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary. • Coordinate with the C-Suite and handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure. • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role such as Executive Assistant within the Local Government sector

• Proficiency in using Concur for travel and expense management

• Experience with CRM systems for managing relationships and interactions with clients

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with 'About Time' time tracking software

• Proficient in Calendar Management for scheduling meetings, appointments, and events

• Ability to handle Correspondence professionally and confidentially

• Experience in supporting C-Suite level executives

• Proficient in Documentation, including drafting letters, memos, and reports

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
