Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Richmond, Virginia. This role is situated within the Government sector and will require expertise in various HR functions. As an HR Generalist, your role will involve managing various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, compliance, and benefits functions.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems to ensure streamlined HR operations
• Manage all aspects of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, ensuring efficient operation and utilization
• Utilize Ceridian and Dayforce systems to manage and analyze employee data
• Oversee all aspects of benefits functions, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure clear and effective communication between all levels of employees
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including FMLA, to protect the organization and the rights of employees
• Build strong employee relations by addressing and resolving employee issues in a timely and effective manner
• Manage FMLA requests and approvals, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Utilize your skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, and FMLA to perform your duties effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
• Expertise in handling Benefit Functions
• Strong Communication skills
• Knowledgeable in Compliance procedures and regulations
• Proven track record in maintaining positive Employee Relations
• Understanding of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) rules and regulations
• Ability to work in a government industry environment
• Prior experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
