We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Assistant based in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be managing sensitive cases, interacting with managers and associates, and handling heavy documentation. This role involves working with ADA team for in-house accommodations and dealing with leave related matters, sometimes for religious reasons.

Responsibilities:

• Handle dedicated in-house accommodation cases as part of the ADA team.

• Engage with managers and associates on a regular basis to address their concerns and inquiries.

• Manage heavy documentation to ensure accurate record keeping.

• Exhibit empathy and patience when dealing with sensitive situations.

• Handle leave related matters, ensuring all requests are processed and documented accurately.

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient processing of tasks.

• Employ ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective communication with the team.

• Utilize Careerbuilder, CRM, About Time, Applicant Track System for various HR functions.

• Conduct Background Checks in compliance with company policy.

• Execute Benefit Functions, emphasizing effective Communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Recruiter in the automotive industry

• Familiarity with Applicant Track System and Background Checks

• Proficient in the use of ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Solid understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Careerbuilder and CRM tools

• Knowledge of "About Time" software

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong decision-making skills

• Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
