Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry based in Richmond, Virginia. The position is for a Human Resources (HR) Manager who will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, such as performing administrative duties, maintaining employee database records, and assisting with new employee orientation meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform various administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the HR department

• Utilize internet resources to identify potential customers and expand business opportunities

• Organize and assist with planning new employee orientation meetings to facilitate smooth onboarding

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee database records

• Leverage HRMS for efficient Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Handle Employee Relations issues effectively and professionally

• Administer compensation and benefit functions for all employees

• Conduct corporate recruiting to attract and retain top talent

• Ensure adherence to all policies and regulations related to Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment through effective HR management. Requirements • Proficiency in HRMS (Human Resources Management Systems) is mandatory.

• Experience in managing Benefit Functions within a manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated ability in Compensation Administration and Employee Relations.

• Extensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration is required.

• Proven track record in Corporate Recruiting within the manufacturing industry.

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies in line with industry standards and company objectives.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee relations.

• Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions relating to HR functions.

• Good leadership skills to manage and guide the HR team.

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Relevant certifications in Human Resources will be an added advantage.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
