Description

We are in search of a Location Services Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. As a part of our team, you will be primarily responsible for executing and planning Location Services projects such as maintenance, cleaning, event coordination, and ensuring adequate supply provision in the workspace. This role is based in an office setting and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage and execute Location Services projects including repairs, office moves, meeting and event coordination, and pantry stocking.

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of the location to identify and follow up on maintenance issues.

• Collaborate with vendors and building management on life/safety and repair items, escalating and providing status updates to the Location Services Supervisor or Manager when necessary.

• Streamline and improve inefficient processes for managing inventory of facilities/janitorial supplies and equipment.

• Maintain vendor relationships, process payments, and track total spend in relation to the budget in coordination with Location Services Supervisor or Manager.

• Assess potential issues during daily walkthroughs and investigate cost-effective solutions for failed/failing building systems.

• Provide routine direction in areas such as mail services, photocopying, scanning, binding jobs, and reception activities.

• Manage office supplies and Location Services budget.

• Coordinate meetings and events, including catering requests, conference room coordination, and audiovisual equipment support.

• Manage building card access systems, ensuring security, and issue new cards to new employees or replacements as necessary.

• Handle new hire/move/termination data and ensure seating is available and presentable for new hires or promotions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.

• Possess strong customer service skills.

• Experience in office functions and receptionist duties.

• Ability to handle payments and process budgets.

• Skilled in materials handling and planning processes.

• Capable of performing research analysis and proofreading tasks.

• Proficient in using monitoring tools and executing tasks promptly.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent time management abilities.

• Experience in managing vendors and facility upgrades.

• Ability to handle client relations effectively.

• Knowledge of graphic design is a plus.

• Experience in coordinating events and catering services.

• Ability to execute tasks, streamline processes, and handle terminations when necessary.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software is beneficial.
