Description We are providing an opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry located in Richmond, Virginia. The role is a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be expected to manage and process medical data accurately, while also handling customer inquiries and maintaining comprehensive customer records.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage medical data entries in a timely manner

• Utilize software programs such as Adobe Acrobat and Allscripts for data management and record-keeping

• Handle and respond to customer inquiries related to their medical data records

• Monitor and update customer accounts as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Implement the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) for data management

• Execute billing functions and claim administration as per the healthcare industry standards

• Manage the operation of clinical trials and keep accurate records of the same

• Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly

• Prepare charts and graphs to represent medical data effectively

• Ensure all data entry tasks comply with the regulations of the healthcare industry. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat software

• Experience with Allscripts software

• Knowledge and experience in using Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Familiarity with Care Compass software

• Experience with Cerner Technologies

• Ability to handle and answer inbound calls

• Previous experience with billing functions within a healthcare setting

• Proficiency in creating charts and graphs

• Experience with claim administration

• Familiarity with clinical trial operations

• Proven skills in data entry within a healthcare setting
