Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. As a Supply Chain Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from managing inventory levels to delivering supplies to various hospital departments.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of hospital supply orders
• Maintain detailed records of supply inventory
• Handle warehouse duties including unpacking supplies and moving boxes
• Deliver hospital supplies to different departments efficiently
• Foster a positive relationship with vendors for consistent supply inventory
• Assist in managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess
• Contribute to the overall organization of the warehouse environment
• Engage in supply chain logistics to optimize operations
• Monitor and maintain the supply inventory system
• Manage vendor inventory as required to ensure a steady flow of necessary supplies. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Supply Chain Clerk role or similar within the Healthcare/NHS industry
• Proven knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management
• Familiarity with Warehouse Duties and the ability to adapt to a Warehouse Environment
• Experience in Warehouse Inventory management
• Proficiency in handling Supplies Inventory and Supply Inventory tasks
• Demonstrated capability to efficiently Track Inventory
• Experience in Vendor Manage Inventory is a necessity
• Expertise in Supply Chain Logistics is a must.
