Robert Half Talent Acquisition Specialist in Ridgefield, Connecticut
Description We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Ridgefield, Connecticut. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent to generating recruitment plans and extending offers at all levels and areas of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal team hiring managers to ensure effective communication and alignment on recruitment objectives and strategies.
• Develop comprehensive recruitment strategy including job posting optimization, recruitment marketing channel development, job board procurement, and employment marketing.
• Source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization.
• Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/screenings as needed, refer candidates to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews as needed.
• Develop recruitment initiatives, budgets and organizational marketing materials to attract applicants.
• Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions.
• Maintain a pipeline of talent for all levels of the organization.
• Develop and maintain all job descriptions and job postings; execute all required job postings in a timely manner.
• Initiate and maintain contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings throughout recruitment and hiring process.
• Develop and maintain network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
• Coordinate participation in various job fairs and make presentations as required.
• Develop/maintain contacts and act as liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary to meet recruiting objectives.
• Coordinate with external recruiters and outside employment agencies to attract and identify select candidates.
• Research, identify, and recommend best practices for full cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies. Requirements • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition within the Non-Profit sector
• Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Strong background in Recruitment - Sourcing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Proficient in using HR software and tools
• Strong decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Knowledge of employment legislations and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
