Robert Half Audit Manager in Riverside, California

Description

Our client in the Inland Empire is seeking a driven, dedicated, and ambitious Audit Manager to join their audit team. The Audit Manager will serve as the client’s trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team.

Responsibilities include:

· Manage and plan multiple audit assignments ensuring deadlines are met

· Manage staff on engagement deliverables; ability to provide timely feedback on engagements ensuring staff learning and development

· Complete technical and strategic reviews ensuring timely delivery within budget

· Manage engagement budget, billing, and realization of assigned clients and the supervision, training, and mentoring of staff

· Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentation, and proposal development

· Evaluate internal accounting controls and audit programs or other reports, plans, or programs prepared by the staff

· Supervise the preparation of management letters or final reports

· Assist with training, coaching, supervising and mentoring staff and interns

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

· BA/BS in Accounting

· CPA required

· 5+ years audit experience with public accounting firm

· Ability to perform and direct multiple engagements

· Experience with new client development and can recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.

· Must possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

· Intermediate Excel

· Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
