Robert Half is seeking a Network Systems Engineer for a client located in Riverside, CA. Network Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network performance, security, and availability to support business operations effectively. You will bring extensive experience in managing complex, multi-location networks and be proficient in troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of network systems.
Position: Sr. Network Systems Engineer
Worksite: Riverside, CA
Onsite: 100% Onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $55-75/hr. (DOE)
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Fulltime

Must Haves:
4-6+ years’ experience in a Cisco Systems network-based environment along with routing and Switching experience along with the following:
Cisco Meraki
VMWare Virtual Networking
Cloud Networking (MS Azure)
Expertise with Cisco, Meraki, and Dell routers and switches, firewall setup, configuration, firmware upgrades, security, and optimization (hands-on)
SD-WAN SASE cloud services management and delivery
Load balancing, QoS, DDoS protection, network vulnerability management & prevention
Expert knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP networking, and EIGRP, OSPF, BGP routing, VPN, IPsec Tunneling
CCNA or CCNP Required
Requirements
Job Scope:
Create, deploy, and serve as the point of escalation for managed network, & security
Design, maintain and administer hybrid computer network devices and services including AS400, VPNs, routers, switches, and other physical and virtual networking systems.
Perform network maintenance and upgrades (security patching, firmware updates, hot fixes, security config)
Install, configure, secure, and troubleshoot hybrid networks and network equipment (physical and virtual)
Create firewall rules, and update virus protection software and data security systems.
Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 switching and routing
CCNA or CCNP Required
