Description
Robert Half is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper in Riverside, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, including sales, receipts, payments, and payroll. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
• Conduct account reconciliation periodically, research and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Manage employee reimbursements, petty cash, company credit cards, and other transactions.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Experience in managing Payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
