Robert Half PC Technician in Robbinsville, New Jersey
Description
We are in the search for a dedicated PC Technician to join our team in Robbinsville, New Jersey. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our computer systems.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and across a range of software applications.
• Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
• Offer daily operations and systems support to staff
• Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT services and related processes
• Work with the team to ensure the implementation of best practices related to the function
• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
• Familiarize end users on basic software, hardware and peripheral device operation
• Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
• Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Dell Technologies
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and services
• Networking skills
• Understanding of Operating System fundamentals
• Experience with Active Directory
• Expertise in Computer Hardware
• Ability to manage Configuration effectively
• Experience in Deployments
• Proficiency in Deskside Support
• Knowledge of MS Windows 10
