As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating both internal and external financial reports and supporting the Head of Financial Reporting with daily operations and special projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that drive strategic decision-making.

  • Contribute to annual budget forecasting for profit and loss, as well as balance sheet predictions.

  • Generate and interpret ALM reports, including liquidity assessments, to ensure financial stability.

  • Develop and conduct capital and liquidity stress tests to gauge financial resilience.

  • Manage and reconcile the bank's investment securities for optimal performance.

  • Perform thorough reconciliations of the general ledger to maintain accuracy.

  • Assist the Head of Financial Reporting with timely completion of special projects, fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Adhere to all banking regulations and protocols, staying updated on industry changes.

  • Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reports by developing innovative processes and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience of 5+ years within the banking sector

  • Exceptional organizing abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication proficiency

  • Ability to perform efficiently under stress

  • Skilled in using Microsoft office and possesses adequate knowledge of the core banking systems
