Description

Responsibilities

  • Train and instruct employees in the proper use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

  • Process weekly payroll for 150+ employees

  • Fulfill other duties as assigned

  • Maintain payroll information by contacting employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

  • Produce and run custom reports

  • Arrange data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

  • Make reports easily accessible by administer/saving them as instructed

Requirements

  • Detailed and have the ability work independently

  • 2+ years of previous payroll experience

  • Enthusiasm when it comes to learning new systems and ideas

  • Skilled in Payroll software

  • Solid understanding of Certified Payroll

  • Full Cycle Payroll experience preferred

  • Background working with Critical Thinking

  • General familiarity with compensation and benefits

  • Analytical Skills experience highly preferred

  • Adeptness in communication

  • Practical knowledge of union payroll

  • VLOOKUP experience highly desired

  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in payroll systems for 100-500 employees

  • Demonstrated knowledge of benefits administration

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Outstanding data entry skills
