What you get to do every single day

  • Partner with other areas in Finance, as well as Human Resources, Tax, IT, and other departments as necessary for reporting, compliance and strategic analysis

  • Present information and respond to questions from senior executives and cross-functional business leaders

  • Oversee payroll staff as well as operations

  • Set and meet goals with other members of senior Finance leadership team

  • Recruit staff in addition to growing and leading a successful team

  • Improve current processes by recommending, leading, and working on projects

  • Payroll analysis

  • Take charge of record keeping and control systems to maintain internal safeguards

  • Take the lead on producing all weekly, monthly, and special compensation payroll runs. Decipher pay policies (LOA, disability, worker's compensation, vacation, bonus, etc.) and ensure appropriate amounts/deductions are applied accurately to different earnings codes in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws

  • Claim responsibility for internal and external audits

  • Taking the lead on pre- and post-payroll auditing/reconciling procedures, as well as troubleshoot anomalies

    Requirements

  • Full Cycle Payroll experience desired

  • Process Payroll experience preferred

  • Adeptness in ADP Financial Services

  • Understands payroll-related cloud-based technology solutions

  • Comfortable with multiple payroll applications

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Candidates with strong interpersonal skills will be the best fits for this position

  • Proficiency in payroll management

  • Reconcile Payroll experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
