Hannah Savage with Robert Half is looking for someone to join her client's growing organization in the real estate/property management field as a Bookkeeper, where your meticulous nature and keen attention to detail will shine. With a minimum of 5 years of previous bookkeeping experience, you'll take charge of full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring seamless transactions and timely collections. Your expertise will extend to reconciliations, meticulously verifying financial statements to maintain accuracy. From completing journal entries to supporting month-end and year-end closings, your contributions will be integral to our financial operations. Your responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly accounting close

  • Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Keep a check on Accounts Payable

  • Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Organize cash flow projections, as needed

  • Regulate Accounts Receivable

  • Uphold monthly accounting close

  • Manage general ledger

  • Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Alternative special projects as requested

  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

    • 5+ years of related bookkeeping experience- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

  • Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping

  • Command of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Foundational knowledge in cash reconciliations
