Description Grow your career with a fulfilling Bookkeeper position that Robert Half has available. This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity for candidates with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. The long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Rochester, New York area.
Your responsibilities
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions Requirements - About Time experience desired
Well-founded grasp of Accounting Functions
Schedule Interviews experience highly desired
Proven knowledge of Review Resumes
Command of auditing
Bookkeeping Functions experience
Proficiency in Phone Presenc
Experience using accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
