Description We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk in the non-profit sector, based in Rochester, New York. This role will encompass entering client information into our new system, in addition to other clerical tasks. Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient data entry of all client information into the new system

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data entry and communication purposes

• Maintain a high typing speed of 45-60 WPM with a high level of accuracy

• Use alpha and numeric key entry skills between 6,000 - 8,000 KPH

• Regularly review and update existing data in the system

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries or issues related to the data entered

• Collaborate with team members to meet data entry requirements and deadlines

• Adhere to and uphold data confidentiality principles

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintain related records

• Conduct data cleansing procedures to rid the system of old, redundant, or inaccurate data. Requirements • Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel

• Demonstrated ability to perform alpha data entry at a speed of 6,000 - 8,000 kph

• Proven skills in numeric data entry in the range of 6,000 - 8,000 KPH

• Typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM

• Previous experience in a data entry role within the non-profit industry is desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
