Robert Half Staff Accountant in Rochester, New York
Description 3. Performs day to day operations including but not limited to tax reports, accounts payable, fixed asset accounts, summary journal vouchers, daily cash flow report, general ledger entries and vault/teller variance reports.*
Performs corporate and branch bank account reconciliations.*
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.*
Analyzes financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, liabilities, income and expenditures.*
Coordinates Accounting matters with other departments and locations.*
Assists CFO on year-end comprehensive audits and exams.*
Prepares income and balance statements, combined and branch statements, and various other accounting methods and procedures.*
Conducts special studies and develops or recommends Accounting methods and procedures.* Requirements Bank Reconciliations, Record Journal Entries, Financial Reporting
