Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Rockford, Illinois
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in ROCKFORD, Illinois. The role primarily involves managing and maintaining HR systems and processes within our organization. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of our HR department by providing efficient customer service and handling various HR-related administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and manage customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer records in the HRMS system
• Utilize ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions
• Assist with auditing of HR activities and ensure compliance with regulations
• Conduct background checks for potential employees as part of the recruitment process
• Assist in managing benefit functions within the organisation
• Utilize 'About Time' software to manage and monitor employee hours
• Provide excellent customer service, handling and resolving customer inquiries promptly
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode to transfer information between systems. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS systems
• Knowledge of About Time software
• Ability to perform Auditing tasks
• Experience in conducting Background Checks
• Understanding of Benefit Functions and their applications
• Outstanding Customer Service skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• Previous experience in Human Resources or related field preferred.
