Robert Half International Payroll Coordinator in Rockford, Minnesota


We might have a Payroll Administrator position that's right for you, if you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, know how to effectively problem solve, and possess a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software. This Payroll Administrator opportunity is located in Rockford, Minnesota and is a short-term temporary role, with the potential for temporary-to-full-time for the right person. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Calculate employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to determine payroll liabilities

  • Manage employee deductions and other liabilities

  • Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data

  • Support all internal and external audits related to payroll

  • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages

  • Follow established policies and procedures to maintain payroll operations and report changes as necessary

  • Handle payroll record updates by keeping changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers

  • Ensure company compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines

  • Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies

  • Manage payroll information requests and questions


1+ years of prior payroll processing experience preferred

Desire to grow in a payroll career

Openness to mentorship and new ideas

Strong technical abilities, including prior experience with the full Microsoft Office suite of products
