Description

We are in search of an Accounting Specialist who will be a part of our team in Rockford, Tennessee. The role involves managing various accounting functions, utilizing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other accounting software systems. The position will focus on maintaining accurate financial records and performing necessary accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of invoices in our accounts payable system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct weekly check runs, print checks, and distribute them accordingly.

• Thoroughly review invoices in our proprietary accounting software for any discrepancies or errors.

• Regularly review and rectify any errors found in general ledger reconciliations.

• Maintain and update our financial records on a regular basis.

• Assist in various accounting tasks as assigned, including database management, file management, and month-end processing tasks.

• Utilize our Sage Intact software for general accounting tasks while adhering to best practices.

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Must have a comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is necessary

• Experience with Billing Functions is desirable

• Knowledge of Sage Intacct software is beneficial

• Capability to manage Check Runs is expected

• Experience in Non-profit Accounting is an advantage

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or related field is required
