Description
We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Billing Clerk to join our growing clients team, based in Rockville Centre, New York. This role is centered around managing billing processes and interacting with customers, in a high-volume setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, liaising with customer service and ensuring a smooth billing process. This job offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing a high volume of billing processes and ensuring they are carried out accurately
• Sending out invoices to contractors after clients have been billed
• Collaborating with customer service to address any billing issues or inquiries
• Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
• Managing customer credit accounts and taking proactive measures to collect delinquent payments
• Processing customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving customer credit inquiries
• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to use Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel effectively
• Experience in coding invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and computer software, including billing applications.
