Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Publisher to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Adobe FrameMaker and a passion for creating visually appealing and informative documents.
Responsibilities:
Document Creation and Layout: Design and create complex technical documents, manuals, and other materials using Adobe FrameMaker.
Formatting and Styling: Apply consistent formatting, styles, and templates to ensure adherence to company standards and client guidelines.
Image and Graphics Integration: Incorporate images, graphics, and diagrams into documents seamlessly.
Proofreading and Editing: Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
Collaboration: Work closely with writers, editors, and subject matter experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of documents.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, including knowledge of advanced features and techniques.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Experience in the technical writing or publishing industry is preferred.
