Description We are seeking a proficient User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. Based in Rockville, Maryland, the role involves shaping the user experience on our platforms, collaborating with various teams, and contributing to the development of our design system. The UX Designer will also be responsible for creating and managing visual assets. This position offers a contract with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for user needs and perspectives throughout the design process to create intuitive, efficient, and delightful user experiences

• Collaborate effectively with the design lead on user research activities, which includes planning, conducting, and analyzing user research to inform design decisions

• Create clear and concise documentation, considering the inclusion of walkthrough videos for clearer async communication

• Design interactive and user-friendly features, incorporating animations and micro-interactions to enhance the user experience

• Develop a cohesive and engaging visual style for various sections of our app, ensuring alignment with the overall aesthetic

• Contribute actively to the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across our products

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure successful implementation

• Create and curate high-quality images with a consistent visual style, including using Adobe Illustrator for icon design and illustration editing, Adobe Photoshop for basic image manipulation, and reviewing AI-generated images. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe XD.

• Familiarity with Android Development is required.

• Experience with AB Testing is necessary.

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.

• Demonstrated understanding of Brand Awareness strategies.

• Proficiency in CSS is a must.

• Digital skills, such as SEO, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising are essential. Innovation starts with people.®
