Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for our bookkeeping client based in Rogers, Arkansas. We are seeking a detailed-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The individual will be responsible for processing payroll, managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, and helping perform month-end closings.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and daily financial entries.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and requirements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Provide support for audits and tax preparation.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial data.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
Payroll experience and familiarity with payroll processing systems.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
