Description

We represent a leading manufacturer based in the Northwest Suburbs of the Twin Cities, dedicated to innovation and excellence in their industry, who is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst for a temporary/contract position to support our data management and analysis needs.

• Gathering and organizing data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.

• Creating and maintaining a master data warehouse, including the management and updating of the system.

• Performing detailed data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.

• Utilizing Excel modeling.

• Developing and maintaining complex Excel models and dashboards.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Creating data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Preparing and presenting analytical reports to management and other stakeholders.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

• Communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Proven ability to create dashboards for various financial data.

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis to support decision-making.

• Must have experience in data mapping to visualize complex data.

• Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive data visualizations.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet project deadlines.

• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
