Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the hospitality industry, located in Ronkonkoma, New York. This role involves managing all accounting functions, implementing financial strategies and systems, and ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all general ledger activity
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions
• Work with ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and tax compliance
• Oversee audit and internal control operations
• Develop and implement ERP Solutions
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, profitability, variance, and trend analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data and reporting
• Ensure compliance with DCAA regulations and standards
• Manage financial and tax audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for financial tracking and reporting
• Experience in the restaurant industry would be an asset.
Requirements • Must have a minimum of five years of experience working as a Controller.
• Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable.
• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and requirements.
• Working knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.
• Proven experience with various Accounting Functions.
• Skilled in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Auditing is necessary.
• Must be familiar with Budget Processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in the restaurant industry is desirable.
