Accounting Manager candidates who are practical and have a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures will find this position to be a good fit! You might be a good fit for this Accounting Manager position with this Non Profit Organization if you can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The organization is based in Roseburg, Oregon but this is a Remote position.

What you get to do every single day

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

  Requirements

Requirements:

-2+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience is Preferred

• Accounting Functions/Software experience desired

• Auditing/Fund experience preferred

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

-Non Profit experience is a Plus but not required

• Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
