Key Responsibilities
· Help lead the drafting and preparation of the quarterly financial statements along with other members of the financial reporting team
· Review work of Sr. External Financial Reporting Analyst, including financial statement footnote disclosure tie-outs
· Establish and maintain effective design and operating effectiveness of disclosure controls and support internal control assessments
· Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the quarterly reporting process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures
· Monitor evolving reporting and disclosure trends and developments as well as performing benchmarking analysis to ensure transparent and high-quality reporting
· Help lead the assessment and implementation of any new ESG disclosure requirements
· Assist with drafting, implementing and maintaining financial reporting policies
· Assist with researching accounting literature and preparing technical accounting memos, as needed
· Coordinate with and support external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit
· Support ad hoc requests from Director of Accounting Policy & External Financial Reporting and Chief Accounting Officer, as needed
Requirements
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Masters degree in Accounting or MBA strongly preferred
CPA is strongly preferred
7 – 10 years of progressive accounting experience
Large public accounting and/or large US public company experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding and experience in practically applying US GAAP and SEC rules
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to quickly establish a personal brand within the organization to drive cross functional collaboration and influence resources outside one’s direct responsibility.

Curious mindset and desire to work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to pragmatically resolve issues and questionsEngaging approach that builds rapport and cohesiveness within the team

Effective problem solver and motivator
Experience working in Workiva a plus
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience with Oracle ERP system, Hyperion, OneStream, a plus
Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
