Robert Half Risk Analyst - Operational in Rosemont, Illinois
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Risk Analyst - Operational based in ROSEMONT, Illinois. The role involves the administration, development, and ongoing support of all BSA/AML/OFAC Risk Assessments within a telecom provider setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for various phases of the process, including strategy, planning, scope, preparation, coordination, and the administration of the BSA/AML/OFAC Program Risk Assessment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, develop, and support all BSA/AML/OFAC Risk Assessments
• Participate in strategy planning and scope preparation for risk assessments
• Coordinate with line of businesses and assist in the interview process
• Conduct statistical / quantitative analysis, scoring, and create executive summaries
• Ensure quality control in all stages of risk assessments
• Prepare periodic Risk Assessment updates and targeted Risk Assessments when necessary
• Represent the Risk Assessment process to audiences as needed, such as during audits
• Function as a delegate for the BSA Director with regards to Enterprise Projects
• Share information between the BSA Department and Project Teams
• Understand and communicate BSA/OFAC Risks relevant to the subject projects to support their planning and progression
• Provide Exam and Audit Assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned relevant to the BSA Governance Unit
• Utilize skills in Archer, CobiT, Data Mining Techniques, LexisNexis, Management System, AML - Anti Money Laundering, Auditing, Compliance, Credit, Customer Service, Power BI, Microsoft SQL, Tableau. Requirements • Proficient in using Archer, CobiT, Data Mining Techniques, LexisNexis, and Management System tools
• Knowledge of AML - Anti Money Laundering principles and practices
• Experience in Auditing, Compliance, and Credit procedures
• Superior Customer Service skills
• Proficient in using Power BI, Microsoft SQL, and Tableau software
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems related to operational risk
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and developments
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
